We are volunteers and are funded by donations. Political Contributions Refunds (PCR) are of the ways we are able to raise funds.
What is a PCR?
PCR's allow for individuals ($75) or couples ($150) to donate to our BPOU but get that donation refunded by the State of Minnesota. Once sent into the state, refunds are usually processed within 7-10 days, directly back to your checking account.
PCR's make it easy to donate to our BPOU each year and get your donation back. Donations allow us to do various activities including:
- Pay for for events such as monthly meetings, parade fees, etc.
- Purchase items such as sign posts, flags, constitutions, etc.
- Support local and state events and candidates with donations and supplies
- Various other activities throughout the year
Your PCR receipt from your donation, coupled with the PCR Rebate Form, allow you to submit your request to the Minnesota Department of Revenue for your refund.
